Top Eventprofs Who Rocked Instagram at TSE2016

We just finished up an incredible week here of The Special Event Conference & Tradeshow in our home town of Orlando, Florida. This is our favorite time of year and this is OUR conference to connect with eventprofs all over the world and reconnect with our friends in the industry.

Each year we are honored to host an education session or two, talking on best practices and trends in social media and how they pertain to the events industry. One of our sessions, “Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram” Get it Together, received rave reviews. See the highlight video here.

One of the major trends we touched on at the conclusion of our session was how to use social media shadows or “reporters” at events and for event companies during their everyday operations, and to follow company figureheads. By using a social media shadow to capture details and behind the scenes moments and post on Instagram proves to be perfect content for the platform and yields optimal engagement. Our industry is known for capturing amazing images and especially during TSE. We were inspired by the flood of images captured via Instagram and used the event’s official hashtag #TSE2016 though out the conference and put together a compilation list of event professionals that were in attendance and captured overall many incredible moments, details and events throughout the conference on Instagram.
